    DAAAYYMMNN

    Ramadhan is almost over??!

Where did the time go? All my plans to buka puasa in office, drink cincau every night, cook once a week, etc... muchos FAIL. I can't believe I haven't had any cincau drink during Ramadhan... it's usually the only Ramadhan resolution that I'd keep. Gah, I'll get one tonight.

Actually, it's really good that Aidilfitri is near, because I'm thisclose to getting all-out-sick of oatmeal for sahur. Oatmeal is nasty but necessary, because it's the only thing that can keep me full for at least 10 hours w/o food. On the days I had tuna sandwiches, burgers or hotdogs for sahur (can't swallow rice+ lauk so early in the AM), I'd be hungry by noon. In fact, I think those were the days when I'd get hypoglycaemic or migraines by end of the day. I think Joan uploaded a picture of me all sick and vomit-y during buka puasa in facebook. Seriously, when I get to that stage, I couldn't keep a bite of food down, because it will come back up ifyouknowwhatImean. I had to sleep it off with an empty stomach, and only eat again during sahur. Safe to say that this year's Ramadhan was definitely not as easy as last year's. Although I'm not saying that it was all bad. In fact there were more good days than bad, but because the bad days were few, I tend to remember them more vividly lah. A good day during puasa is usually unremarkable... like, it didn't feel like I was fasting at all, like it's a normal day.

    Highlights of Ramadhan so far:

    • America's Next Top Model - Cycle 11 every friday night via Youtube. This cycle's production is more cheesy in that cringe-worthy kinda way than usual. LUVS it.
    • Buka puasa with friends and faux-foe (zing!)
    • Ayam bumbu at Sundanese Restaurant... yum.
    • Guitar Hero-ing with newbies... they make my easy-level skillz look extra impressive! Heheheheh.
    • Lost weight
    • Astro Oasis @ 106 - wah, I've never checked this channel before and they have some good programs on it too. Shocking.
    • Saved some money
    • Feel healthier, I reluctantly admit, because of the almost daily oatmeal consumption. Bleccch!

    Next stop: Raya!
