August 13 Losing my mindThat's it... I've finally gone nuts.
Wrote an email, proof-read it twice, sent it, and then I realized that I meant something totally different than what I actually wrote in the email. Except when I was proof-reading it, I didn't catch the mistake. It's not your normal typo mistake either. To illustrate it with and example, it's like I typed Bread when I meant Clock. And as I proof-read it, honest-to-goodness I saw the word Clock instead of Bread. Like, the word Bread was covered by the word Clock in my mind. After I sent it, and got the reply pointing out my mistake, then only I realized that I typed Bread instead of Clock and I didn't see the word Bread but really Clock when I proof-read it. I'm losing my mind!
This is either stress, or I had too much coffee. I've been abstaining from coffee for two weeks, but today I was super sleepy after lunch that I had to make one. Maybe after a long hiatus from caffeine, my body and mind couldn't handle the sudden surge of caffeine, that my synapses and reactors went haywire. No, I don't really know what 'synapses' or 'reactors' mean... these are the only words that I remember from my SPM biology days.
Either way, I'm gonna go home and catch my favourite trashy show of the moment, America's Next Top Model Cycle 8. Wait, maybe that show is the one that's rotting my brain cells, and not the caffeine. Hmmm... brain damage, or ANTM? Brain damage... ANTM. Brain damage... ANTM.
Dude, this is hard. August 08 Blogging from… Word?Who would've thought it. Blogging from a Word document. Now all we have to do is wait for the hovercraft car to be invented. |
